Kathryn Roos

Kathryn has more than 15 years of experience with complex programmatic efforts to help government and private transportation clients develop and implement new programs and sophisticated project solutions that advance their agencies’ vision and achieve performance goals. She is nationally recognized as a public-private partnership (P3) expert having led the two-time award winning DC Smart Street Lighting Project. She most recently served as Deputy Chief Operations Officer for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation. Prior to that she served as Chief of Staff for Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg when he was mayor of South Bend, Indiana. Kathryn currently serves as a Principal Strategic Consultant for HDR Inc.
